​​​​The BIP’s mission is to promote thought leadership, relationship development and charitable initiatives within the institutional investment industry.

​In 2015, the BIP Board of Directors officially launched BIP Gives, a philanthropic effort to  bring together our membership with Boston-area charities and organizations in need of volunteers and donations. BIP has given to over thirty local chariities.  We also have teamed up with Cradles to Crayons to offer a hands-on fulfillment day each year. 

Our primary charity, Cradles to Crayons, supports childhood development by providing children with the essential materials required for their growth and education. Their commitment to quality and to having a tangible impact aligns strongly with the BIP’s values and objectives. Each spring, many BIP members, as well as local consultants and other investment professionals, gather at Cradles to Crayon's Giving Factory in Brighton, MA to help organize donations for children in the area.
